This event, hosted on the occasion of the 76th United Nations General Assembly, will serve as the official launch of the 3-D Commission’s final report, principles, and recommendations. During this event, the key themes and conclusions of the final report will be highlighted through in-depth discussions with the Commission co-chairs facilitated by Commission Chair, Dr. Sandro Galea. Following the discussion, all in attendance will be able to interact with and ask questions of the speakers. Closed captioning in multiple languages will be available.

The 3-D Commission is an ambitious initiative that combines the insights of social determinants and the power of data to inform decisions that affect the health of populations. Funded by The Rockefeller Foundation and driven by the Boston University School of Public Health, the 3-D Commission aims to improve health not just by examining the social and economic levers that influence outcomes, but also by engaging policymakers to integrate data on social determinants into their decision-making.
